Privacy policy without procurement fog
China Build Source collects only what is needed to run the site, understand aggregate traffic, and respond to RFQs or supplier profile requests.
Explain how China Build Source handles analytics, contact requests, RFQ information, supplier data, and deletion requests.
Site analytics
We use Plausible Analytics through plausible.nilni.com to understand aggregate pageviews, referrers, outbound clicks, and tagged events such as RFQ submit clicks.
- Analytics are used to improve pages and conversion paths.
- Do not put personal data, supplier secrets, or private project details into event names or analytics properties.
- Plausible is used for aggregate website measurement, not advertising retargeting.
Procurement request data
If you submit an RFQ or email us, we use the provided information to understand the request and respond. This can include product specs, drawings, quantity, destination, standards, timeline, supplier notes, and contact details.
- Send only the information needed to evaluate the sourcing request.
- Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, private IDs, or confidential supplier contracts through public forms.
- We may retain request context so follow-up does not turn into a scavenger hunt.
When request details may be shared
Relevant project details may be shared with sourcing, inspection, freight, or supplier contacts when needed to evaluate or fulfill a request. We do not sell buyer contact information.
Corrections and deletion
You can ask us to correct or delete request information by emailing rfq@chinabuildsource.com. Some records may be retained when needed for security, legal, operational, or dispute reasons.
Before you shortlist
- Use rfq@chinabuildsource.com for privacy requests.
- Include the email or project context tied to the request.
- Avoid sending highly sensitive personal or payment data.
- Ask for deletion when a request no longer needs to be retained.
Common questions
Does China Build Source sell RFQ contact information?
No. The site exists to handle procurement requests and supplier discovery, not to resell buyer inboxes.
Can I request deletion?
Yes. Email rfq@chinabuildsource.com with enough context to identify the request.
