Send the useful details first
For RFQs, include the spec, quantity, destination, standards, timeline, and whether you need samples, inspection, or freight help. "Need best price" is not a plan.
Give buyers, suppliers, and partners a clear contact path with enough context to avoid vague sourcing emails.
For buyer RFQs
Use the RFQ page or email the procurement details directly. The more precise the first message, the faster weak supplier matches can be filtered out.
- Product category and exact product type.
- Drawings, dimensions, materials, finish, standards, and target certifications.
- Quantity, project volume, destination country or port, target incoterms, and deadline.
- Sample, inspection, private label, packing, or freight needs.
For suppliers
Supplier profile updates need evidence. Send public website, company name, product range, factory or trading company status, export markets, certifications, MOQ, lead time, and caveats. Marketing fluff will be ignored with impressive efficiency.
For privacy or data requests
Email rfq@chinabuildsource.com with enough context to identify the request. Do not send passwords, payment data, or private IDs through public forms.
Before you shortlist
- Use /rfq/ for manufacturer quote requests.
- Use email for privacy or supplier profile corrections.
- Include project context and destination market.
- Do not send private credentials or payment details.
Common questions
What email should I use?
Use rfq@chinabuildsource.com. For procurement requests, the RFQ page gives the cleanest structure.
Can suppliers request a profile?
Yes, but a profile needs evidence and caveats. A sales brochure alone is not enough.
